In addition to being the Director of Audiology for Peconic Ear Nose Throat and Facial Plastic Surgery, she is an adjunct professor in the Speech and Hearing Department for St. Joseph's College and Adelphi University in New York, as well as for Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, AZ, for their on-line internet based doctoral program.
Dr. Prestano has been helping people to hear better for over 19 years. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology from Hofstra University in NY in 1986. She went on to receive her Master of Science degree from Central Institute for the Deaf, a division of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1991. She then received her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology, the AuD, from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, a division of Arizona School of Health Sciences, in 2003. She has been an educator for many years, providing training and seminars in hearing and hearing loss. She is an advocate for those with hearing difficulties, focusing on patient education and satisfaction. |
Jennifer Lohr-Seitz, MS, CCC/A
Jennifer obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2003 and her Master’s Degree in Audiology in 2005, through Adelphi University. She joined our staff in July of 2005 and completed her clinical fellowship year in 2006.

Lisa Cruz, Ototechnician
Lisa Cruz is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College, having received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008 in Speech Communication. She continued to pursue further education and recently received her certification as an Otologic Technician, being certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology. Additionally, Lisa is currently a Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee in the State of New York. She is an integral part of our staff and continues to provide excellent care and service to our patients.
